Submission of Abstracts and Participation

FACE TO FACE PARTICIPATION

The language of presentation at our congress is Turkish or English.

Participation in the congress is not possible without membership in the IAHPEDS Association. To register, please visit https://iahpeds.org/join-us

Individuals attending our congress in person can participate by oral presentation, poster presentation, or as an audience member.

A specific day will be designated in the program for participants who wish to present their presentations in Turkish.

Participation Information for the IAHPEDS 2026 World Congress

To participate in the IAHPEDS 2026 World Congress, it is required to first obtain membership in the International Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Dance, and Sport (IAHPEDS).

The language of our congress is Turkish or English.

In online participations to the congress, only oral presentations will be made.

A specific day will be determined in the program for participants who want to make their online presentations in Turkish.

  • Each participant can only submit one abstract and must indicate their presentation preference.

  • In order for the abstract to be included in the program and presented, the presenting author must have paid the early registration fee.

  • Abstracts can be research-based or compilation-based.

  • Presentations can be made face-to-face orally, online orally or as a poster.

  • The abstract must comply with the spelling and punctuation rules. The author is responsible for any spelling errors.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.

  • The authors’ names, surnames, institutions and countries must be written clearly (academic titles must not be used).

  • The text title must be short, reflect the content and only the first letters must be capitalized. No abbreviations, symbols or special characters must be used.

  • No visuals, tables, references, formulas or symbols should be used in abstracts.

  • The text length must not exceed 250 words, including the title, author name and institutions.

  • Standard abbreviations can be used (they must be written clearly when first used, then the abbreviation must be given in parentheses and the abbreviation must be used afterwards).

  • All abstracts will be evaluated by the scientific committee. The committee has the right to accept or reject. If necessary, corrections may be requested.

Please submit only one abstract as the first author.

All abstracts must be written in English. Research-based abstracts must include purpose, method, results, and discussion/conclusion information; single paragraph, single spaced, and no more than 250 words. Practical or other types of abstracts must clearly describe the content of the program to be presented.

The abstract must consist of one paragraph and must not contain any headings (such as Method, Results).
The abstract must not include any references; no figures, tables, symbols or special characters should be used.

Use left-aligned text format.
Times New Roman, 12 point and single line spacing should be used.
Please prepare your abstract in WORD format.

  • IAHPEDS 2026 World Congress (Call for Papers for E-Proceedings Book)

  • For accepted abstracts, participants who have completed IAHPEDS membership and registration procedures and presented at the congress can send their full-text articles to be included in the e-proceedings book.

  • Full compliance with APA 7 is mandatory.
    – Proper language and grammar must be used.
    – Necessary ethical permissions and approvals must be obtained.
    – If editorial correction is required, it will not be published without approval.
    – IAHPEDS reserves the right to publish or not publish and edit articles.
    – Inappropriate articles will not be evaluated.
  • Maximum length: 10 pages (4500 words),

  • Minimum length: 6 pages (2500 words),

  • Page layout: Word format, Times New Roman 12 point, 2.54 cm (1 inch) margin, left aligned

  • Reference format: APA 7th Edition (2019)

  • Language: English

  • Writing format: Scientific research level, should include introduction, sufficient literature, appropriate method, analysis and discussion sections.

  • Ethical compliance and conflict of interest declaration are the responsibility of the author.

  • The submitted article should not have been previously published and should not be under consideration elsewhere.

  • All authors must approve the submission.

  • Tables and figures should be embedded in appropriate places in the text.

  • Internet sources should also be referenced in accordance with APA 7.
